October came up in 2022 and terrified the living daylights out of us. Some people enjoy horror films and watch them all year; others avoid them when they come on.

Nevada’s most popular horror movie would be Stephen Kings’s ’It’ directed by Andy Muschietti, which came out in 2017 and has a Rotten Tomatoes score of 86% and an audience score of 80%.

The classic story is a reimagining of the 90’s miniseries starring Tim Curry as Pennywise the clown. This time around Bill Skarsgård takes up the mantle as the iconic ghoul. Some may be familiar with the story, but we’ve provided a small recap for those interested in dipping their toes into these murky horror waters.

Seven adolescent misfits in Derry, Maine, will soon confront their greatest dread: an ancient, shape-shifting monster that rises from the sewer every 27 years to feed on the town’s youngsters. Grouping together throughout the duration of one horrible summer, the pals would face their own particular anxieties to face the violent, bloodthirsty clown known as Pennywise.
