According to new Bureau of Labor Statistics data, Nevada’s unemployment rate is down 2.2% in July from numbers 12 months ago. The state’s unemployment dropped from 6.6 percent in July 2021 to 4.4 percent in July 2022.
In addition to the positive unemployment numbers, Nevada has added a total of 78,200 non-farm jobs since July 2022.
The drop in the state’s unemployment rate and higher job numbers are potential good signs for the future of Nevada’s economy.
