Consumers have faced steep gas prices throughout the past year, as demand continues to rebound in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic and as a result of sanctions on Russian imports while the war in Ukraine continues to rage. As of June 15, the average price of gas per gallon in the United States is $3.589, a 5 cent increase from one month ago.

Here in Nevada the price of gas per gallon has increased slightly to $4.274, a 1 cent per gallon increase compared to one week ago, and a $1.489 per gallon decrease from one year ago.
